Eco Effect is an educational program for residents, businesses and organizations across the Hawaii Islands. Tune in to KHON Sundays at 5:30 p.m. and also KHNL Sundays at 2 p.m. Women ages 35‐59 make up about 60% of the audience. The show target working age residents ages 25‐65 who are seeking greater economic self sufficiency. Over 1,288,198 people reside in Hawaii of which 25% are Native Hawaiians. Eco Effect seeks to reach Native Hawaiians not only on the air, but also with our field reporters in remote areas of the Islands and through other Friends of NELHA ongoing outreach projects.
