The Blue Planet Foundation's mission is to end the use of carbon-based fuels on earth by making Hawai‘i a global leader for energy independence within a decade. Blue Planet is currently working to build Hawaii’s clean energy movement, shape new policy at the State Capitol and before administrative agencies, educate broadly about Hawaii’s energy challenge, and provide effective tools for residents statewide to implement smart energy solutions. By identifying key leverage points across many sectors, Blue Planet seeks to foster systemic change in how Hawai’i generates and uses energy.
